Description
It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful coasts in the area. It has a coastline length of 500 m and is located 14 km north (by road) from the castle of Paphos, in the Pegeia district. Its golden sand and its crystal clear, shallow waters have earned it the distinction of a blue flag. Around it, the two capes that surround it with lush vegetation from the largest banana plantation in Cyprus, which reaches the coastal church of Agios Georgios, compose a unique landscape.
In the summer, Coral Bay is filled with people, mostly young people, but it is also a good choice for families with young children and for those who love water sports, since here they can find them. Also, the beach is organised with sunbeds, umbrellas and rubbish bins. Facilities include toilets, showers and changing rooms. Restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, bars, kiosks and accommodation can be found within easy reach of the bay.
